A man was arrested for illegal possession of deadly weapon yesterday in Barangay 12, Bacolod City.

The suspect was identified as Alandro Carbona, 20 years old, and a resident of Purok Boulevard in Barangay 16 of the said city.

Police said Carbona was spotted wandering along Luzuriaga Street with a bladed weapon tucked along his waist.

Recovered from his possession was a bladed weapon that measured approximately 12 inches from tip to handle.

The Bacolod City Police Office, meanwhile, urged the cooperation and support of the community to ensure public safety./NC, WDJ
