The Iloilo City government recently signed a memorandum of agreement with the Iloilo Paraw Regatta Foundation, Inc. (IPRFI) ahead of next year’s Paraw Regatta Festival, which is typically held in February.
“Let’s continue to support IPRFI in showcasing Ilonggo talents and traditions,” said Mayor Jose Espinosa III. “People from around the world always want to visit our place to join us in celebrating festivals like this.”
During the signing, the event’s logo and mascot, Burong, were presented; along with the IPRFI declaring its partnership with Guimaras, which comprises part of the course.
Meanwhile, the IPRFI also revealed P2.8 million has been allocated towards next year’s festivities./WDJ
