A man was arrested for illegal possession of a firearm at Purok 5 in Barangay Madalag, EB Magalona, Negros Occidental, Tuesday night.

The suspect was identified as 26-year-old Michael Bilbao, a resident of the said barangay.

Police said the suspect reportedly fired a gun in the said area.

Bilbao was caught holding one improvised .38 caliber revolver, loaded with two live units of ammunitions; and three fired cartridges.

After the suspect failed to present documentation proving legal ownership of the said firearm, he was brought to the custodial facility of EB Magalona Municipal Police Station./NC, WDJ
