Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Mark Villar recently ordered DPWH-Region 6 (DPWH-6) Director Wenceslao Leaño, Jr. to rush the completion of ongoing infrastructure projects in Bacolod City as traffic continues to worsen in the city.

He urged the regional director and district engineers to strictly adhere to set deadlines and called on the public to file complaints in order to have problems with ongoing projects addressed.

Meanwhile, in terms of problems noted with the ongoing flood control project, particularly along Gatuslao Street, the DPWH secretary said he would look into the matter.
