According to reports, the University of the Philippines (UP) may be looking to recruit Bacolod Tay Tung High School (BTTHS) volleyball player Marianne Sotomil.

“I have graduating players who are under negotiation with some colleges and universities in Manila,” said BTTHS Vice President for Sports Jose Montalbo. “I want them to have the freedom to choose their preferred colleges and universities.”

He noted, however, “If they remain here in Bacolod City, they will have no problem with their scholarship.”/JSG, WDJ
