Two firearms seized

Following the implementation of ‘Ligtas Paskuhan 2017,’ which includes intensified police visibility, the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) recently recovered two firearms.
According to BCPO spokesperson, Police Senior Inspector Armilyn Vargas, the firearms were seized in Barangays 11 and 12.
One improvised pin gun and one live unit of ammunition were recovered from 23-year-old Marvin Gustilo at Las Rocas in Barangay 11, last Sunday.
Gustilo is said to have pointed the weapon at 23-year-old Milky Basinal.
The second firearm was recovered yesterday from 18-year-old Romeo Imperial at Purok Mambuloc in Barangay 12.
His arrest took place during a Misa de Gallo service.
Recovered from his possession was one .38 caliber Smith and Wesson revolver, which was loaded with three live units of ammunition./NC, WDJ
