Two men were injured following a head-on collision between two trucks along the Bacolod-Silay Airport Access Road at Bangga Capi-Sian in Barangay Efigenio Lizares, Talisay City, Negros Occidental, Thursday evening.

According to the initial investigation, 54-year-old Ronilo Tugunon of Barangay Felisa, Bacolod City was driving southbound in his Mitsubishi truck when he collided with a Fuso truck driven by Joel Gorrez of Barangay Mabini, Cadiz City.

Gorrez was observed to be under the influence of alcohol.

Tugunon sustained injuries to his left leg, while Gorrez suffered injuries to his head and other parts of his body.

Both were rushed to the Teresita Lopez Jalandoni Provincial Hospital in Silay City for medication./NC, WDJ
