The Negros Occidental Private Schools Sports, Cultural and Educational Association (NOPSSCEA), or Area 8, recently captured both elementary and secondary boys’ division football titles at the 2017 Palarong Panlalawigan.

The elementary side defeated Area 1, comprised of San Carlos City, Escalante City, Calatrava, and Toboso, 4-0; while the secondary side beat Area 4, comprised of Bago City, La Carlota City, Pulupandan, Valladolid, San Enrique, and Pontevedra, 1-0.

STI-West Negros University served as host for the elementary competition, while secondary matches were played at the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos./JSG, WDJ
