The Iloilo City Assessor’s and Treasurer’s Offices were recently recognized with “Most Outstanding Performance” awards at the Regional Association of Treasurers and Assessors-Region VI (Regata-6) General Assembly at the Sampaguita Gardens in New Washington, Aklan.

“Iloilo City’s edge is its competitive and impressive development,” said Assistant Iloilo City Assessor Cheryl Chan. “We are more than ready for future investments.”

The Iloilo City Assessor’s Office was recognized in the Real Property Assessment Award in Calendar Year 2016 cities category.

“Iloilo City is considered as [an] investors’ destination in the whole country,” said acting Iloilo City Treasurer Jinny Hermano.

The Iloilo City Treasurer’s Office was awarded in the Real Property Tax Collection category after earning a performance rating of 133 percent.
