With Philippine Airlines set to open a route between Bacolod–Silay Airport and Clark International Airport on Friday, December 15, Bacolod City Mayor Evelio Leonardia said it will bring more convenience for both tourists and travelers.
In an interview with Watchmen Daily Journal yesterday morning, he noted Bacolodnons who are residents of Quezon City or Caloocan City would prefer flying through Clark as it would be closer and easier to access than Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) in Pasay City.
The mayor also called the new route “a welcome development,” saying it would “enhance flexibility and accessibility.”/DGB, WDJ
