Alangilan, Granada farmers undergo techno-demonstration training

A total of 47 farmers from Bacolod City Barangays Alangilan and Granada recently participated in a techno-demonstration by the Bacolod City Department of Agriculture, which ended with a completion ceremony last week at the Bacolod Boys’ Home in Barangay Granada.

A techno-demonstration, sometimes referred to as techno-demo, is utilized to showcase production technology.

Executive Assistant Samuel Montoyo, who represented Bacolod City Mayor Evelio Leonardia, addressed the participants.

“Now that you have the skills to have your own livelihood, you should work hard to make your lives better,” he said.

Also present at the ceremony were City Administrator John Orola, City Department of Agriculture officer-in-charge Romeo Garcia, Jr., City Planning and Development Office head Mary Jean Ramos, Technical Assistant Greg Leonardia, among others./WDJ
