A total of 350 local graduates of the Training for Better Access to Job Opportunities (TraBAJO) program were recognized during a graduation ceremony at the Bacolod City Government Center (BCGC) over the weekend.
The graduates completed courses in cookery, massage, food and beverage service, housekeeping, and bread and pastry production.
TraBAJO, a product of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), seeks to develop workforce capabilities.
Bacolod City Mayor Evelio Leonardia addressed those gathered, where he asked them to do their jobs well.
“That’s the least that we can do to please the DILG,” he added.
Also in attendance were DILG focal person for TraBAJO in Negros Occidental, Marissa Costelo; Executive Assistant Marivic Canada; among others./WDJ
