The Iloilo Science and Technology University (ISAT-U) recently dominated the pencak silat events of the State Colleges and Universities Athletic Association-Region VI (SCUAA-6) meet in Antique, while the Carlos Hilado Memorial State College (CHMSC) conquered beach volleyball.

ISAT-U won both the men’s and women’s pencak silat events. The men’s team won nine gold medals and a bronze; while the women took home six gold medals.

The school also won the chess event, edging out Central Philippine State University (CPSU).

In beach volleyball, CHMSC won both the men’s and women’s event. Incidentally, ISAT-U took second place in the women’s event.

The two schools also split the badminton events, with CHMSC winning the men’s division and ISAT-U taking the women’s title; the latter also took second place in the men’s competition./PLL, WDJ
