The Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOPPO) said they are available and well-prepared to return to the anti-illegal drug campaign, as ordered by President Rodrigo Duterte.

In a recent interview with NOPPO director, Police Senior Superintendent Rodolfo Castil, Jr., he said, while they are still awaiting official notice from the national headquarters in Camp Crame, provincial police are committed to conducting the campaign with transparency and will work cooperatively with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).

With the re-establishment of the campaign, Castil is carefully selecting personnel to be assigned to units focused on anti-illegal drug activities.

He also encouraged the public to continue and participate in the advocacy programs to eliminate the menace of illegal drugs in the province./DGB, WDJ
