The Negros Occidental provincial government recognized 77 retirees earlier this week at the Capitol Social Hall, as part of the Tribute to Retirees Program.

The recipients, all former Provincial Capitol employees, each received P10,000 from Negros Occidental Governor Alfredo Marañon, Jr., P2,000 from the Capitol Government Employees Multi-Purpose Cooperative, and P500 from the Progressive Alliance of Capitol Employees.

Of the 77, 11 were awarded posthumously.
