The University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos (UNO-R) recently observed the 429th Day of Order, a time in which believers nurture their spiritual life and their relationship with God.
The event opened with a vocation conference at the Oratory of St. Nicholas of Tolentino.
An advent reflection, celebrated by Rev. Fr. Gideon Lagrimas, took place that afternoon, which was followed by the Concelebrated Eucharistic celebration.
“The celebration of Advent and Christmas should be by rejoicing, praying, and [offering] thanksgiving to God,” said Recoletos de Bacolod prior, Rev. Fr. William Villaflor, in his homily. “We need to invest in the heavenly bank of Christ.”
