The Iloilo City Social Welfare and Development (CSWD) office, in coordination with the Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO), recently distributed livelihood assistance to 14 persons with disabilities (PWDs).
Each beneficiary received P5,000 during Monday’s flag ceremony at the City Hall.
“The PWDs were trained for two to three weeks in making bags, wallets, cellphone and ID holders, and dressmaking,” said PDAO head Blesilda Mabilog. “Hopefully, they will be able to use the money as [a] source of their daily needs.”/WDJ
