LOPTTA captures women’s team, men’s singles events

The Lopue’s Table Tennis Association (LOPTTA) captured several medals in the 1st Serging Osmeña, Jr. National Invitational Table Tennis Championship, which closed earlier this week at the Cebu City Sports Complex.

The team won a total five medals, including two golds.

The LOPTTA women’s team, comprised of Marell Lagunday, Micah Tanate, Gems Gellang, and Cherrica Michelle Uytiepo took the women’s team competition; while Mark Jimenez won the men’s singles event over teammate John Paul Gubaton, earning himself a silver medal.

Meanwhile, Tanate won bronze in the women’s singles event; as the LOPTTA men’s team of Jimenez, Gubaton, and Joshua Michael Castro also took bronze./PLL, WDJ
