The Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) recently released their 2018 Refereeing International Lists, which included three Negrense referees among a total 12 officials from the Philippines.

Inclusion on the list means they are qualified to officiate international matches.

Making the list were Linjun Talaver, Giovanni Lachica, and Emmanuel Elloso.

“We would like to congratulate all 12 Filipino referees, who [were] nominated by PFF (Philippine Football Federation), and have been included [on] the FIFA 2018 Refereeing International Lists,” said PFF general-secretary, Atty. Edwin Gastanes. “Their acceptance [on] the list should serve as inspiration to other young and promising Filipino football referees.”/JSG, WDJ
