A pair of resolutions passed by the Bacolod City Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP) during their regular session yesterday extended congratulations to local graduates who were among the “Top 10” in their respective board and licensure examinations.

Among those included were “topnotchers” John Cyril Claur of the University of St. La Salle (USLS), who topped the chemical engineer licensure examination; and Paulyne Kate Sacdalan Genson, an alumni of the University of the Philippines-Diliman and St. Scholastica’s Academy, who topped the interior design board examination.

Also receiving praises were others who passed the chemical engineer licensure examination, including Jermaine Lamboso of USLS, who came in ninth; along with second place Wilmark Palacios and fifth place Jarjolen Jamora, both of the Colegio San Agustin-Bacolod.

The resolutions, penned by City Councilor Em Ang, called the scholars “role models” and inspirations for their peers to “strive harder in their studies.”/PLL, WDJ
