Scoring 87 percent on the recent licensure examination for teachers (LET), Julie Ann Villarias Gentilezo, a graduate of the Himamaylan extension campus of West Visayas State University (WVSU), ranked seventh nationwide.
Watchmen Daily Journal tried reaching out to the future educator, but she declined an interview. However, Himamaylan City Councilor Justin Gatuslao offered his input, saying, “The Himamaylan campus is performing.”
He added, the Himamaylan extension campus should be integrated into the WVSU system.
It was previously reported, three WVSU-Iloilo City graduates also made the Top 10, with Mary Clarence Gepes Madero taking first place.
Meanwhile, Maria Victoria Lionne Fulgencio Hierro also ranked in seventh place, as Franz Ian Dominguez Solomon came in at number 10./DGB, WDJ
