U4U holds event in Talisay City raising awareness on teen pregnancy

The U4U (You-for-You) Youth Hub Initiative recently took place in Talisay City, where teenagers from schools across the city were provided with information regarding teenage pregnancy and the prevalence of sexually transmitted diseases.

The event, which ran for two days, was created by the Commission on Population (PopCom), with support from the United Nations Population Fund.

U4U also featured booths with representatives from the City Health Office, the City Planning and Development Office, and the City Church of Christ.

Meanwhile, an information service development network training for local peer educators was held at different Talisay City schools yesterday, conducted by Negros Occidental PopCom Information Officer Lara Jeunesse Villaruel./WDJ
