A La Castellana municipal employee was allegedly victimized by snatchers in front of the old National Statistics Office (NSO) building along Gatuslao Street in Barangay 11, Bacolod City, Monday.

Police identified the victim as 40-year-old Mitzie Pille, a resident of Purok Kasilingan Village, La Castellana, Negros Occidental.

Based on an initial investigation by Police Station 1 (PS1), the victim was aboard a Bata-Libertad jeepney when an unidentified suspect sat beside her.

The suspect grabbed her checkered bag and immediately ran away.

The bag reportedly contained P200,000 in cash collection; a GoPro Camera, worth P20,000; a mobile phone, worth P5,000; and government documents.
