The 1st Gwapo Zumba Bacolod, which launched at the beginning of this month at the Bacolod Public Plaza, will come to an end on Saturday, December 2, with an event at the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos (UNO-R) amphitheater at 4:00 p.m.

After an initial 22 Zumba groups entered the competition, through a series of eliminations, nine teams were selected for the finals.

Among those expected to make appearances this weekend include dancer and TV host Regine Tolentino, former Streetboys members Kramer Pastrana and Bennie ‘Retro King’ Almonte, among others.

Event founder and producer, Bacolod City Councilor Ricardo Tan, promised there will be a second Gwapo Zumba Bacolod./WDJ
