Members of the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (DRRMO) recently conducted a community outreach activity at Purok Progreso Village 1 in Zone 1, Barangay Vista Alegre, Bacolod City.

The program sought to reinforce existing disaster preparedness programs, bring services closer to the community, and showcase various disaster preparedness activities.

Among the activities conducted during the event included separate lectures on disaster preparedness and basic first aid; a song and dance presentation; establishing a blood pressure monitoring station; the distribution of first aid kits, toys, housewares, and garbage receptacles; a feeding program; among other undertakings./WDJ
