Davao Aguilas players called up for international duty

The Philippine national football team, the Azkals, recently called up 11 members of Davao Aguilas FC ahead of the Chinese Taipei Football Association (CTFA) International Tournament, scheduled to begin on Friday, December 1, and run until December 5, at the Taipei Municipal Stadium.

Among those called up include strikers Phil Younghusband, Ángel Guirado, and Jaime Cheng; defenders Simone Rota and Junell Bautista; midfielders James Younghusband, Raymart Cubon, Dylan de Bruycker, and James Hall; and goalkeeper Nick O’Donnell.

Under-22 player Justin Cheng was also called up.

The competition is set to be played between four countries. Besides the Philippines and Taiwan, Laos and Timor Leste will be taking part in the tournament./JSG, WDJ
