Marcus Hinojas and Keith Smart Docado, both from Bacolod City and students of the Hanah Taekwondo Gym, were part of the National University (NU) squad to win silver in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) junior men’s taekwondo competition, which recently took place at the Ateneo de Manila University Blue Eagle Gym.

After a seventh place finish last year, the junior team managed to edge out teams including the University of the East and the De La Salle Santiago Zobel School to take second place, behind the University of Santo Tomas.

“I’m really proud of Marcus and Keith, even though they were awarded silver,” said Hanah Taekwondo coach Vic Feria, who was in Quezon City to witness the competition.
