Villa Angela FC takes the title

Villa Angela FC defeated STI-West Negros University (STI-WNU) over the weekend, 2-0, to capture the Negros First DFL Men’s Open title at the Pontevedra Football Field.

Paolo Sanchez, who was named ‘Best Striker,’ and Rey Hemerson Ocampo scored the goals for the winning side.

Negros Occidental Football Association (NOFA) President Ricky Yanson, Jr. said the program will promote football in the province, noting, “It’s a great learning process to have this kind of tournament.”/JSG, WDJ
