A total 50 participants completed the three-day, live-in drug rehabilitation seminar, which ran from November 21 to 23 at the Gawahon Eco-Park in Victorias City.
The program sought to develop the capability of trainees for a community-based rehabilitation program, with training specialists on drug prevention control from the Dangerous Drug Board (DDB) reviewing universal prevention curriculum on substance abuse.
Included among the team from DDB were Health Education and Promotion Officer IV Emma R. Pastorfide; global master trainer, Pastor Little Jones Espeleta; and Marikina City Community Development Officer IV Noel L. Santos.
The seminar was led by the Negros Occidental Drug Rehabilitation Foundation, Inc. (NODRFI), the Negros Occidental Drug Rehabilitation Center (NODRC), and the Victorias City government, in partnership with the United Nation Drug Control Program Colombo Plan and the DDB./WDJ
