The Land Transportation Office-Region VI (LTO-6) recently conducted a seminar for the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOPPO) in order to train them on traffic laws.

Amid the training, LTO-6 Director Roland Ramos expressed his concern over police officers being relieved from post due to a neglect of duty.

“Don’t use your authority for personal motives,” he noted.

Meanwhile, LTO-Bacolod officer-in-charge Renato Novero discussed RA 4146, or the Land Transportation and Traffic Code.

“PNP (Philippine National Police) officers who pass the [deputation seminar test] will be tasked to work hand-in-hand with LTO enforcement officers,” he said./JSG, WDJ
