AACI Trading forces decider against Royal Star Trading, Basecom advances to finals

AACI Trading recently defeated Royal Star Trading, 69-52, forcing a decider; while Basecom beat Sweet Crystals Sugar, 82-76, qualifying for the finals of the ongoing Fil-Sino Inter-Color Basketball Tournament at the Bacolod Tay Tung High School gym.

AACI Trading took a commanding 23-9 lead in the first period; however, the lead was cut to 33-27 before heading into halftime.

By the third period, the eventual winners pulled away 46-35 and never looked back.

Carlo Chu led the victory with 17 points, followed by Bren Tajonera with 15 and Mark Binguan contributing 14.

Despite the loss, Arnol Laureño scored 27 points for Royal Star Trading.

In the other semifinal, Robbie Jalandoon led Basecom with 18 points, followed by Richard Co adding 12.

Marc Lo, however, managed to post 19 points for Sweet Crystals Sugar.

Basecom awaits the winner between AACI Trading and Royal Star Trading./JSG, WDJ
