The 16th Career Executive Service (CES) National Conference, recently held in Bacolod City, emphasized the value of ‘convergence’ in government and its ability to achieve goals.
“All roads lead to this one vision; but problems, difficulties, and glitches are present along the way,” explained Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) officer-in-charge Rosalina Bistoyong, who also serves as president of the National Union of Career Executive Service Officers (NUCESO). “With our convergence and inter-agency coordination, sharing of knowledge and resources, and strengthened alliances, attainment of [goals] and targets are indeed becoming doable.”
“The vigorous trainings, examinations, and evaluations we have each undergone have prepared us for the dauntless tasks of serving our people,” she added.
Around 700 officers participated in the conference with Department of Budget and Management (DBM) Secretary Benjamin Diokno serving as keynote speaker./WDJ
