The Department of Tourism-Region VI (DOT-6) will launch their Bring Home a Friend (BHAF) program today, November 24, at the SM City Iloilo Cinema 6, as part of the Month of Overseas Filipinos and International Migrants Day observances.

BHAF focuses on encouraging Filipinos, both in the Philippines and abroad, to promote Philippine tourism by inviting foreign friends to visit the country.

DOT-6 is giving Filipinos of legal age, dual citizens living in the Philippines or abroad, and foreigners living in the Philippines for a minimum of six months a chance to win a condominium unit from the Megaworld Corporation, a Toyota Vios, or a P200,000 Duty Free Philippines gift certificate.

To be considered, they must invite or sponsor anyone holding a foreign passport, or dual citizenship, living abroad for a minimum of six months prior to the event and has been in the country during that period of time.

There are also chances to win vacation packages to Palawan, Cebu, and Davao.

Interested parties must register on the Bring Home a Friend website (bringhomeafriend.online), which is accessible through the DOT website (tourism.gov.ph).

The program will be drawing winners through April 15, 2018./WDJ
