During a recent press conference, Bacolod City Administrator John Orola announced the city would be conducting a public hearing and consultation next week on the Comprehensive Land Use Plan (CLUP), inviting landowners to attend as the plan will determine specific uses of land and other physical and natural resources.
“We have to categorize our land usage into different areas that would be beneficial to the city,” he explained.
Orola said, through the hearing, they will be able to determine actual boundaries within specific jurisdictions and apply appropriate policies on land use.
The hearing will take place next week, on December 1 and 2, in the MassKara Hall of the Bacolod City Government Center from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon./DGB, WDJ
