
Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Director Guiling Mamondiong recently visited the Bacolod City Government Center, where he revealed to Mayor Evelio Leonardia the agency would be providing a total 1,150 scholarships for local students, 150 to be awarded next month and another 1,000 next year.
Joining the two were Bacolod City Public Employment Service Office (PESO) head Anthony Jose Ayco, Bacolod City Vice Mayor El Cid Familiaran, TESDA-Capiz Director Abdel Hajan, and TESDA-Negros Occidental Director Julius Sol Jamero.
According to Ayco, students enrolled in vocational-technical programs at Bacolod City College (BCC) may also be eligible for the scholarship./WDJ
