The Iloilo City Hall will be hosting a job fair next week, November 28, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on the third floor, where around 5,000 call center jobs will be available.

“Some 52 BPO (business process outsourcing) companies will be joining the job fair,” said Iloilo City Mayor Jose Espinosa III. “They will be hiring 5,000 personnel.”

Meanwhile, the city government plans to establish a speech laboratory at the Technical Institute of Iloilo City in order to prepare students for such jobs by providing a venue for them to practice their pronunciation./WDJ
