Two of the three suspects in the Friday night robbery of a warehouse at Purok Kabulakan 2, Barangay Singcang-Airport in Bacolod City were captured by police over the weekend.
Police identified the suspects as 20-year-old Arnold Varilo and a 17-year-old teen, whom they did not identify. Both are residents of the said barangay.
The third suspect, 18-year-old Edrian Bison, is still being pursued by police.
Based on reports released by Police Station 8 (PS8), the suspects allegedly broke into a warehouse owned by ACS Manufacturing Corporation on Friday.
Once inside, the suspects carted away cash, electronic gadgets, mobile phones, and power tools amounting to around P192,399.
PS8 later conducted a follow-up operation early Saturday morning, which resulted to the arrest of the two suspects.
Police recovered the stolen electronic gadgets, mobile phones, and a cash collection of around P25,000. An additional P140,000 remains unaccounted for.
Varilo is presently detained at PS8, while the 17-year-old suspect has been handed over to the city’s social welfare and development office.
