Local NCIP to provide scholarships to indigenous students

The Negros Occidental National Commission for Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) recently made 50 scholarships available for the current 2017-2018 academic year for indigenous students.
According to the agency, eligible recipients are entitled to free tuition, a uniform and book allowance, and a P2,500 monthly stipend.
In April of this year, the Negros Occidental Scholarship Program (NOSP) provided the Indigenous People’s Scholarship to 49 eligible students./PLL, WDJ
