Davao Aguilas FC defeated Kaya FC-Makati, 3-1, in their Philippines Football League (PFL) match over the weekend at the University of Makati Stadium. After Ceres-Negros FC drew with Ilocos United FC in their weekend match, the third place Kaya FC currently sits six points behind the Negrense club on the PFL table.

Less than ten minutes later, Davao striker Harrison Sawyer put his club ahead in the 65th minute. This was followed by Guirado earning a brace in the 74th minute, putting the visitors up 3-1.

“I’m happy because I scored,” said Guirado, who was named Man of the Match. “The team has three points more and I’m also looking forward to our next season.”

Despite the win, Davao Aguilas remains in second-to-last place on the table.
