The Bacolod City government will be conducting a clean-up drive across Bacolod City today, November 18.
Personnel from the Bacolod City Police Office, the Department of Education-Division of Bacolod, the Department of Public Services, the City Engineer’s Office, among other city government staff will be taking part in the effort, which begins at 7:00 a.m.
“All public markets, streets, and government properties are among the top priorities in the cleanup drive,” said City Administrator John Orola.
The three target areas are along South Capitol Road, beside the Development Bank of the Philippines building; the Bacolod Public Plaza, including the downtown area, Central Market, and along Gonzaga and Araneta Streets; and Negros Occidental High School.
The clean-up drive is in preparation for the National Union of Career Executive Officers General Assembly, which is scheduled to take place next week, from November 21 to 23./WDJ
