The Silay City government recently signed a memorandum of agreement with Habitat for Humanity Philippines Foundation, Inc. to construct a P45 million housing project in the city’s Barangay E. Lopez at the BonBon Resettlement Project.
The agreement was signed between Silay City Mayor Mark Andrew Golez and Habitat Managing Director Michael Meaney. Negros Occidental third district Rep. Alfredo Benitez and Habitat Project Director Lili Fuentes were also on hand as witnesses to the signing.
The mayor called the project a “big help for the less fortunate.”
