Talisay City Mayor Neil Lizares III awarded P284,200 worth of monthly allowances to barangay tanods and special education beneficiaries.

In two ceremonies yesterday morning, 294 Talisay City barangay tanods each received P500 in their September monthly allowance. Meanwhile, a total of P137,200 was distributed to 74 Talisay Elementary School special education students and 24 who study at the Silay Special Education Center.

Meanwhile, a three-day training, from November 24 to 26, was scheduled for barangay tanods who had yet to undergo a city-sponsored program conducted by the Talisay City Department of the Interior and Local Government./WDJ
