The Colegio de Sta. Ana de Victorias (CSAV) will meet the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos (UNO-R) in the finals of the 2017 Negros Occidental Private Schools Sports, Cultural and Educational Association (NOPSSCEA) men’s basketball competition today at 5:30 p.m. at the STI-West Negros University (STI-WNU) gym.

“We will try our very best,” said UNO-R coach Gerome Aledron. “[CSAV] have the height, and an import.”

Aledron, as a coach, has earned a pair of NOPSSCEA titles. Meanwhile, his counterpart at CSAV, Elvis Atinado, won seven straight NOPSSCEA titles with STI-WNU.

To earn their respective spots in the finals, CSAV beat La Consolacion College-Bacolod; while UNO-R beat STI-WNU./JSG, WDJ
