Bacolod City’s most wanted thief falls

Bacolod City police officers nabbed the city’s most wanted thief at Purok Cheriza, Barangay 27, late Friday afternoon.

Police identified the suspect as 24-year-old Jeric Robles, a resident of Barangay Villamonte, Bacolod City, and a suspected member of the infamous ‘Akyat Bahay’ gang.

Police Station 4 (PS4) said, around 5:00 p.m., their station received a call from a concerned citizen who spotted Robles allegedly carrying a gun on the streets.

Cops immediately responded, which resulted in the suspect’s arrest.

Police recovered a .38 caliber revolver with four live units of ammunition, along with a mobile phone and a flat screen TV, which police suspect were stolen.

They added, Robles is currently the most wanted Akyat Bahay gang member by the Bacolod City Police Office-City Intelligence Unit (BCPO-CIU).

Robles is presently detained at PS4 and faces additional charges for illegal possession of firearms./DGB, WDJ
