Fil-Sino Inter-Color Basketball Tournament

Royal Star Trading recently defeated AACI Transport, 75-70, maintaining their undefeated 7-0 record; while Sweet Crystals beat JSY Transport, 87-76, in the ongoing Fil-Sino Inter-Color Basketball Tournament at the Bacolod Tay Tung High School gym.

Heading into halftime, Royal Star Trading held a massive 44-22 lead. This advantage remained in the eventual winner’s hands throughout the third quarter, who were later up 60-41.

Brix Arrobang led the victory with 24 points, followed by Edward Uy with 10 points.

Despite the loss, Simon Guevarra managed to score a game-high 26 points for AACI Transport.

In the other game, Sweet Crystals Sugar faced off with JSY Transport, who only had five available players. Despite the disadvantage, the undermanned squad held a narrow 39-38 lead at the break.

In the third quarter, Sweet Crystals Sugar picked up the pace and found themselves up 66-52 as the teams went into the final period.

Ceasar Tan led the winners with 24 points, with Justin Kilayko scoring 16 and Henel Jison adding 10.

However, Kendrick Deloria delivered a massive 37 points for JSY Transport./JSG, WDJ
