The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) office in Bacolod City recently announced a courtesy lane would be provided for military officials and police officers who were previously deployed to Marawi City, where they fought against Islamic-State backed Maute terrorists.

In addition, no online appointment is necessary for the said applicants.

The department made the move in order to facilitate the process of their passports ahead of the all-expense paid trip to Hong Kong promised by President Rodrigo Duterte./WDJ
