The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) held an orientation at the BAYS Center earlier this week to review the revised guidelines for “Mamamayang Ayaw sa Anomalya, Mamamayang Ayaw sa Iligal na Droga” (Masa Masid), a barangay-based program to combat illegal drugs and other criminalities.

“This is not just another social gathering, this is part of our duties and responsibilities as public officials,” said Bacolod City Mayor Evelio Leonardia, who addressed the event.

An estimated 500 took part in the event, with each of the city’s 61 barangays each represented by nine officials./WDJ
