The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) set the new deadline to allow the exchange of new design series bills for new generation currency for December 29, 2017.

According to the BSP, the exchanges will be conducted without charge for up to P100,000 per transaction at BSP cash departments, regional offices, and branches.

In Bacolod City, exchanges can only be done at the BSP Branch located at the corner of Lacson and Luzuriaga Streets. Commercial banks will no longer accept such transactions.
