The Iloilo City Local Economic and Investment Promotion Office, in coordination with non-governmental organization Atikha Overseas Workers and Communities Initiative, Inc. (Atikha), conducted a family income management training for the families of overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) at the City Hall penthouse, yesterday.

“We want to help the migrants and their families in changing their behavior towards saving,” said Atikha area development coordinator Jose Felino Resol, Jr. “The training aims to encourage the OFW families to save and invest for a successful reintegration.”

Among the topics discussed included the duality of migration, achieving migration goals, family income management, saving, investing, protecting yourself, borrowing, getting out of debt, and family management./WDJ
