Athletes from Bacolod Tay Tung High School (BTTHS) are scheduled to leave for Dumaguete City on Thursday, November 9, to compete in the 2017 Batang Pinoy-Visayas, which is set to take place from November 10 to 16.

According to team manager Jose Montalbo, the roster includes Alyssa Bertolano, Shane Carmona, Hannah Quanico, Kiesha Bedonia, Rhean Hebraica Almendralejo, Gwen Bañas, Charlene Tayapad, Katherine Shaine Cortez, Auria Alvero, Kathleen Tan, Annikha Cabasac, and Nicholie Galvan.

They are also joined by coach Ian Macariola, who is assisted by Biboy Calamba.

The event, geared towards young athletes 17 years of age and below, seeks to foster self-discipline, teamwork, and the development of a healthy citizenry./JSG, WDJ
